Fastly becoming known as an entertainment destination within a short minute drive from the centre from Abu Dhabi, Yas Island is home to the annual F1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the state-of-the-art Yas Marina Circuit. Here you can enjoy Yas Marina Circuit through a series of track day packages, including ‘Driver Experiences’, ‘Passenger Experiences’, ‘Private Driving Tuition’ programmes and ‘Racing License Courses’.

Weather on Yas Island

The Yas Island weather is probably the biggest reason for travellers to have a holiday on Yas Island. The hottest month on Yas Island is August with average temperatures of 41°C and the coolest in January at 23°C with the most daily sunshine hours in June. The most rainfall is in the month of February with an average of 40mm of rain. In our opinion the best months to have a Yas Island holiday are in October, due to the heat has subsided but the sea still has the warmth from the summer months.

Book your Trips in Advance

The majority of us tend to book our trips and Excursions when we are in resort, however this sometimes can lead to disappointment as some places and attractions get booked up especially in high season or public holidays. Booking early will also sometimes help you find better early booking offers, so its worthwhile investigating before you visit Yas Island. Visiting Yas Island especially during times of major sporting events it is strongly advised tickets etc.. are booked in advance.

Yas Marina Circuit Experiences

Getting around is easy

Getting around on Yas Island is very easy but not somewhere you would want to walk for too long, especially in the highs of Summer. All hotels and restaurants will call you a taxi and they are metered and generally good value. Alternatively, getting around Yas Island and Abu Dhabi city is easy by using the Yas Express shuttle bus. A number of the routes run between the Corniche, Saadiyat Island and around Yas, which are free of charge for all.
